Fantastic few hours out and about in NO. Our guide, Adam was full of facts, guided us nicely through the French Quarters, leafy side streets and ultimately City Park. All at a leisurely pace, with plenty appreciation how hot it was on the day. (The breeze while cycling was fab!). Would thoroughly recommend to anyone as a great way to see parts of NO a bit too far out of reach on foot.

I received a text from Bobbie apologizing that our guide was sick. She asked if there was another day, my daughter and I were only going to be there one more day. She said she was free, I was totally amazed as I was trying to get that day (Saturday) originally and it was not available. I almost booked a different tour due to my availability but luckily it changed. Unfortunately the guide was sick but fortunately we were able to still take the tour. Beignets and seafood boil were the main reason for our visit. Bobbie was amazing, worth trying the tour.

The tour of a lifetime!
I asked my hotel concierge which tour to book and he said this was the one. We did the 6 person tour to get the most personalized experience. Jay was our tour guide, a Barataria Island native and very knowledgeable and passionate about the area, the wildlife, fish, birds and history.The ride was fast and fun in between areas of mire exploration. We saw a cemetery that is losing ground, parts of the swamp that were widened due to forestry needs and from hurricane damage.He answered all questions and called out to the gators in French…the females came runnIng! Obviously familiar with Jay and knowing there was nothing to fear, we had 4 gators around our boat. We tossed marshmallows to them before Jay got out the hot dogs and showed us a lot of excitement with gators even up on the boat. He’d kiss them and stick his head in their mouths for a bit of fun that didn’t seem overly dangerous (just exciting) The snap of their jaws will be a sound to remember!A great time and worth every penny for the smaller tour experience.

Our tour guide, Kelsey, was very knowledgeable about local history and pop culture references, including Trent Reznor, John Goodman, and Anne Rice. The Garden District is beautiful and, even though today was really hot, there was tons of shade provides by the gorgeous live oaks. We learned more than a few new things about New Orleans on this tour. I highly recommend for anyone with good taste :)
