Excellent tour. Andrea was our guide and Super Knowledgeable. It wasn’t just, “Look, here’s a pretty house. Look, another pretty house.” She knew history, she knew architecture, she was very patient with all of my questions. It was interesting and down-to-earth. I think having these tours led by volunteer guides that actually care, makes all the difference.

Isabelle was very clear in her explanations before and after the booking and was always available via WhatsApp; it is a guarantee of quality and professionalism.Our guide René picked us up at our hotel and shared anecdotes with us throughout the car ride to our destination, and on the way back, he gave us very good recommendations for restaurants. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans! We had so much fun, and it honestly felt like we were getting to experience a real Louisiana family tradition instead of just going on another tour. We learned all about the culture behind Cajun seafood boils and how they bring families and communities together, and even got to pull up crab traps off the dock and add the crabs to our boil! Such a cool experience!The guides were amazing and made everyone feel so welcome. You could tell they genuinely love what they do, and their passion for sharing their lifestyle really shines through. The boat ride was beautiful, the food was delicious, and there was so much great conversation throughout the entire experience. If you're looking for something that feels authentic and gives you a true taste of Louisiana culture, I can't recommend this enough!

Geff is very knowledgeable, generous with his time and historic background, and very engaging- the time flew by, even though it was close to 90 degrees and we got rained on! Follow the gentle instructions - bring water, bring an umbrella, rain or shine - and you will have a fantastic and memorable tour. The coffee shop from which the tour starts is a hidden gem also - super easy to arrive early or linger afterward over a beverage and a treat. Highly recommend!

Our tour included three adjacent cemeteries, including the poignant Hurricane Katrina memorial. Miss Jill did an amazing job with this tour. She was incredibly patient with the kids and the material was perfect for the target audience. My daughter learned a lot and I was happy she was getting well researched and fact based information delivered in a way she could understand and process (even though some topics are difficult for kiddos to get). We loved the tour so much, we booked the tween ghost tour with Miss Chelsea the next day and loved it as well! I cannot recommend this company strongly enough if you are traveling with kiddos.

We went out on the water with Captain Emmet, who was good-humored and also full of interesting facts and stories. The cooler was stocked and the selection of drinks was good. This tour was wonderful! Highly recommend, First of all the website was easy to book without having to call anyone. Communication was stellar. The price was modest compared to some...which I appreciated as you never know what you are going to get. I would rather give a tip than pay for something that was not so great.Our guide was Harris who knew so much about the entire history of New Orleans, but as a musician himself was able to bring more insight into the whole Treme area and the beginnings of Jazz. We even went by a church he had played in when he was in high school. He wanted to know what we wanted to know, not just a canned talk by any means. Like because I am Irish, he told us a little about that neighborhood as well. And even more generous, he followed up the visit with a long text reviewing a lot of the details and names he had discussed and some other places we might want to check out.
