Everything was excellent. I learned so much more . This was my 2nd trip to the museum and the displays have been expanded since I was here last. More being built!

Absolutely loved the museum - especially the movie, USS Tang and pacific wing. Learned new stuff - exhibits were captivating.Went with an 11 year old, 2 adults, one 75 year old - all enjoyed itMasks aren’t required. To give you a sense - the USS Tang exhibit allowed 20 people - pretty confined submarine exhibit - more than 50 percent not wearing masks which just didn’t feel great when COVID at its peak

We spent 5 hours on New Year's day and did not finish. I loved the exhibit and took our time to review almost all of the sections. I like the concept of having a dog tag and follow a specific person time during the war. I've previously visited the one in Hawaii. This one also showed more on the role the US experienced during the difficult time.

Having had our fathers serve during WWII, Navy and Marines, and we had visited the museum upon its opening, we wanted to experience the new additions. It was very crowed and when we got there at noon, the only tickets available for the movie was at 5pm, their closing time. We knew we would be there for that long so we included lunch in their restaurant. Every time you visit, you learn something new. Don’t forget to do the soldier experience. Ask if they don’t tell you! Also, they sell sidewalk bricks as a fundraiser to honor those who served. Well done.

It was busy the day we visited. With all the video and audio displays, you could spend two days to see, hear, and watch everything. Lots of stairs to walk up and down but there are elevators available. Our teens (14 & 18) enjoyed the museum. Gift shops are priced similar to other shops. The main diner was busy so we didn't go there. We also watched the Victory Belles, vintage singing group, and it was nice. The kids were 50/50 on it. Lots of cool artifacts. The buildings were decorated to make you feel like you were there.

The movie was great! We watched that first, before exploring the museum and that helped my younger kids understand what they were about to experience. They have a dog tag interactive “game” that even my 16 year old enjoyed. We were there from 11-5 and still didn’t get to see everything!

We loved this museum. But please allow enough time. We had five hours and it was not enough. We also had lunch in there sit down café which was an experience of itself. All the exhibits were so involving you almost felt like you were there. Lots of streaming of real true at the time films. Cannot rave enough about this.

... and they were right! So much to see in this museum, you can’t do it all in one day. Everything is well done and brings WWII to life—very immersive experience. The upgrade to the pass with the 4D movie was well worth it.

Amazing film and museum! I would HIGHLY recommend for everyone to go while in New Orleans. We started with the film which gave a comprehensive overview of the war and then we jumped into the exhibits. I've been to countless museums having lived in Europe for 5 years and can say that this is hands down the best museum I've ever visited. Each section is so well thought out with audio, visual, and text and really focuses on the US's role in the war. We spent the entire day there and would have gone back for another day if our itinerary had allowed. We also ate in the restaurant and had great food with quick and friendly service.
