Geff is very knowledgeable, generous with his time and historic background, and very engaging- the time flew by, even though it was close to 90 degrees and we got rained on! Follow the gentle instructions - bring water, bring an umbrella, rain or shine - and you will have a fantastic and memorable tour. The coffee shop from which the tour starts is a hidden gem also - super easy to arrive early or linger afterward over a beverage and a treat. Highly recommend!

This tour was outstanding! The food was fantastic and we were lucky as it was just my wife and me as guests on the tour. Our guide Kelly was fantastic as well. She’s a local and her knowledge of the local history and culture, and her personal connection to the music scene, all shared while walking between venues made the trip both fun and educational. And the food! Beignets, muffuletta, gumbo, red beans and rice, gator balls. Highly recommend this tour and get Kelly as your guide.

Geoff is kind, humorous and remarkably approachable. Unlike many guides who rush you along, he welcomes every question and provides deep, accurate historical context. Our tour included three adjacent cemeteries, including the poignant Hurricane Katrina memorial. Because Geoff has special access to two of these sites, we were able to see the stunning tombs in Mid-City up close. This tour is an absolute must-do—you won't regret it.
