This was an amazing tour and Jeff was such an amazing guide! We were a group of 14, but he went out of his way to make the process as seamless as possible despite taking on a larger group than normal. There was even a hilariously decorated bike for my partner’s birthday! The food was fabulous and Jeff told us so many interesting facts about the history and culture while eating. The last stop had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River while ate our po boys on some benches outside. If you want a fun tour of the beautiful neighborhoods while getting to experience good food as a local instead of a tourist, I would 100% recommend this experience, and tell Jeff we said hi!

First and foremost, the food! ❤️ Our tour guide, Mark, curated the most delightful selection of dishes that gave us such a wonderful taste of New Orleans! Every stop was delicious, but what made the experience truly special was Mark himself. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and culinary culture of New Orleans, but went above and beyond by teaching us about the history, traditions, and Southern culture woven into the city’s food. I booked the plantation tour with Tours By Isabelle because it was one of the only ones to offer tours in French. Isabelle was very clear in her explanations before and after the booking and was always available via WhatsApp; it is a guarantee of quality and professionalism.Our guide René picked us up at our hotel and shared anecdotes with us throughout the car ride to our destination, and on the way back, he gave us very good recommendations for restaurants. Isabelle had booked a French-language tour of the Laura plantation and notified me of a date change as soon as she knew about it, so that I could plan ahead.I recommend Tours By Isabelle with my eyes closed!
