Isabelle was our Tour Guide. In a word, WOW!!! She is so, so nice and incredibly knowledgeable of the city of New Orleans and the surrounding areas. She’s exceptionally knowledgeable of the city’s ties to France, Spain and Haiti.Isabelle also demonstrated great flexibility in the tour schedule when we asked her to show us the neighborhoods affected by Katrina. I’ll be honest, seeing the destruction and suffering it left behind left my wife and very emotional.My wife and I highly recommend Isabelle for your next tour. This was such amazing tour, my favorite of the tours I took when visiting! We were able to look at the architecture, get a better understanding of the history, and visit the park! Bre was so wonderful. Would definitely tour again!

Isabella was a terrific tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the city of New Orleans. Told us about the history of each area of the city. We learned so much more than if we just walked around on our own. She was very pleasant easy to understand and a good driver.

This was a most amazing experience. Lee was a great tour guide and drove us to virtually all the highlights that New Orleans has to offer. He knows everything about the city and is passionate and proud of New Orleans. We made a couple of nice stops along the way, and it made for a wonderful three-hour experience. Everyone who visits New Orleans should do it.

Our tour guide Michael was great and very informative. Great tour to cover basic on the city. Gave us a chance to see the places and decide on which ones we wanted to explore more of.

We had an amazing afternoon outing with Rene (our guide for this tour) around all parts of New Orleans. I will start by saying there were torrential rains; thunder and lightening the afternoon we did our tour -- and the weather did NOT dampen our spirits even a tiny bit. Rene is born and raised in Louisiana and his family goes back multiple generations -- and he knew every little nook and cranny of town along with tons of fun facts. The history and his enthusiasm as we traveled along.....it is infectious.We exited the vehicle briefly only twice -- so the rain was almost irrelevant. We were provided with BIG golf umbrellas when we went to learn about the above ground cemetaries and when we did our stop for Cafe au Lait and Beignets. It was a perfect break in the middle of all the fun wandering via van. The small group can hold a few others but, ours happened to be just our own small group which made it that much more fun!We were all in town for Jazz Fest and we had planned in advance to tour on this particular day and not attend music at the Fest. With the rain, we really lucked out on our no music plans -- as the rain did not impact us at all.Rene picked us up on time at our hotel in downtown New Orleans in a van. Rene was FULL of so much information and answered our multitude of questions.Small Group Tour is the way to go!!! Rene is funny and informative. If you need recommendations of restaurants or want to know about Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath of that, Rene has you covered. He covered it all. We learned so much in that one day (1:00-5:00)!!! Highly recommend Tours by Isabelle and Rene -- you cannot go wrong.And, Isabelle herself, VERY easy to connect with and work with as we had a couple minor changes (one friend wanted to join but, then was not able).DO THIS TOUR. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

This private city tour was perfect for my family visiting New Orleans. The bus was clean and comfortable, our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun, but most importantly we were able to see so much of the city in only 2 and a half hours (including a tour of a cemetery!). I highly recommend. Thank you New Orleans Native Tours!

The City and Cemetery tour was educational and entertaining. The guide, Henry, kept the tour engaging.

It was a short walk from the Hotel to the Bus pickup location, a little scary since we had never been to New Orleans before, but we found our pickup location fairly quickly.Our bus driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable of the locations he took us through and to. It was a little warm and a tiny bit humid, but if I could go back, I WOULD!! There is so much to see and do in this City.The buildings are bright, colorful, and if you are into architecture, this is definitely a place for you. There were colorful mural, homes that were painted with bright colors, and some beautiful historic homes.We had gone to a cemetery and he explained to us why there are above ground burials. Also, he explained to us the family crypts that are in the cemeteries and how they can get many, many, many family members in one crypt. Kinds of gross, but I guess it's the cycle of life.For the cost of the tour, it was well worth it. Being seniors, we all had some kind of issue with walking, and our tour guide was respectful of that.Again, if I could go back to New Orleans, I definitely would return and spend more time there. As it was, we only had a few hours there as we were to head out in the morning on a river cruise.

The tour was marvelous. Well worth the cost. Our guide Justin had bits of information about some of the sights that only a local would know. He also provided some very funny anecdotes.
