The plantation was beautiful and the gift shop shouldn't be missed..prices were reasonably and all the workers were so so sweet. the swamp tour was such a highlight for my sons and I! Chaz was our guide and omg he was great! He was so fun and as my son says "full of pizzazz". Never a dull moment since he had us laughing the whole time

This was a great tour to change the pace from French Quarter visit. The plantation itself is mostly interesting due to the inclusion of slave history there, apparently they are making an effort to include the slave experience there and not glorify the austerity of the few. The best part of the day was the boat tour. Dewy our guide was awesome. He’s from the area and is fun to listen to his stories and point of view. We se a lot of alligators because the small boat can reach areas bigger boats can’t. A lot of fun.

This was a great tour! Our favorite part was definitely the airboat ride but the Plantation was also a nice change in scenery. This is an ALL day tour and even though there is a cafe/restaurant at the plantation, there is very little time to sit, order and eat. I recommend to pack a lunch. Our guide at the airboat was awesome! He is a local native of (unfortunately and so sad) a city near the swamp that got 90% wiped out by Hurricane Ida. I loved how comfortable he felt driving the airboat and being around the gators. It seemed like he knew the swamp like the back of his hand. Just a tip to take sunglasses as the speed of the airboat can really dry out your eyes. The plantation was also great! bathroom were very clean, the tour of the Big house was very informative and it was neat to see how everyone lived back in the day. Gift shop is quite big and if you have time..grab some ice cream! it was so good!

Wonderful. Definitely book the small airboat they can get into smaller spaces. This is an experience not to be missed. If rainy weather is a potential, take a rain jacket. We got rained on and with the jacket, we were totally fine.

This tour was great! Besides getting out of the craziness of the French Quarter, it’s a good opportunity to see life in a different time period. Oak Alley is a great location. They bring the role of slaves on the plantation in but could probably do a little more on that. Great restaurant and amazing pralines! We choose the small air boat for the swamp. Definitely worth the money. Our guide was great. Don’t remember his name but he’s one who will actually jump in the canals to “encourage” some big gators closer. Too bad the gator was full and just wanted a nap! Would absolutely recommend this combo tour. It was a great way to spend Memorial Day.

All the tour guides were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The price of the package is worth every penny. Make sure to get great pictures. Be prepared to pet the alligators. Yay!

We were picked up at the hotel and the driver had good knowledge of the area, and told us stories of the area. Oak alley was very nice and the tour guides were very good. I just wish we could spend more time there, but we needed to get to the air boat. So, the air boat was fun and the boat driver also had great knowledge of the swamp area and wild life. We saw many alligators, turtles and fish. We had alligators right up next to the boat and the driver would touch his head with his bare hand. I will defiantly do another air boat ride again.

The double-booking (Plantation Tour and Air Boat Swamp Tour) is the way to go. The Plantation Tour was beautiful, informative and educational. The swamp tour, with talks about the flora and wildlife, as well as an exhillerating ride through the Louisiana swamp was great. What a memorable day this was!
