Houmas House Estate and Gardens Guided Tour
Overview
Journey back in time at the Houmas House Estate and Gardens as you take a guided tour of the grand antebellum mansion, just a short drive from New Orleans, Louisiana, and immerse yourself in the rich history of the old South. Costumed staff bring the era to life as they share stories of this former sugar plantation, and you’ll have time to stroll through the South’s Most Beautiful Gardens before or after your tour. While you’re here, enjoy a delicious Southern meal at one of our on-site restaurants— The Carriage House Restaurant, offering a refined Louisiana cuisine, or the Dixie Café, perfect for a casual experience.
