This stunning Greek Revival style building is one of the most significant buildings in American history. The Old US Mint started minting in 1838 until 1909, and over its history served both as US and Confederate Mint. The Cabildo is one of the most impressive landmarks in Jackson Square. An elegant Spanish colonial building, it was built under the Spanish rule in 1795-1799.
