Beat the crowds and avoid the traffic with this early morning tour of Louisiana’s most visited attraction, New Orleans’ French Quarter. The tour starts and ends at our bike shop located conveniently near the French Quarter, one block off Frenchmen Street in the Faubourg Marigny neighbourhood.
We will set you up on a bicycle before your tour guide and a group of no more than 12 bike riders set off for the French Quarter. This hour tour features some of the most influential places in New Orleans’ storied past.

Over 200 years of history at this 5 block market. Today it features a wide variety of art, produce, food, and retail shopping.

Stop At: Old Ursuline Convent Museum, 1100 Chartres St, New Orleans, Louisiana 70116
An important stop at the oldest building in the region, the Ursuline Convent built in 1752. Also, included in this stop is the Beauregard-Keyes House, former home of a civil war general and an American author.

A hop over to the adjacent Faubourg Marginy neighborhood provides a look at Frenchmen Street, the most important street for music in modern day New Orleans.

This 1788 home is one of the few examples of French colonial architecture left in the French Quarter, which is dominated by Spanish colonial style.

Since 1840, this family run business has been serving French-Creole food in its 15 dining rooms. A must visit to pay homage to the birthplace of Oysters Rockefeller.

A visit to the site of the former French Opera House. Although the building burned down in 1919, between the Civil War and World War I the Opera House was the preeminent social space for local elite.

This open space in Armstrong Park was home to large gatherings of slaves and free people of color during the 19th century. These gatherings featured open markets, dancing, and drumming. Congo Square is often referred to as the birthplace of Jazz and was later home to the first New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
